The TPU Cylinder Chocks by American Metal Fabricators are purpose-built to keep compressed gas cylinders from rolling and sliding in your vehicle during transport. Engineered for cylinders with a 9-inch diameter, these chocks lock each tank in place so it stays exactly where you put it — whether you're on the highway, navigating a job site, or loading up a work truck.

Each chock features two 1.25-inch slots designed to accept ratchet straps or tie-down straps, giving you a secure anchor point to cinch the cylinder down and eliminate movement entirely. Molded from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), they're tough, impact-resistant, and built to handle the demands of real-world use without cracking or deforming.

Why It's Worth It

A loose compressed gas cylinder in a vehicle is a serious hazard. These chocks are built to eliminate that problem. They cradle the cylinder from underneath, stopping it from rolling side to side, while the strap slots let you lock it down completely so there's zero sliding — even on rough roads or sharp turns.

Whether you're transporting oxygen, acetylene, argon, or CO2 tanks, these chocks give you a solid, reliable hold from the moment you load up to the moment you arrive.

Care & Maintenance

Wipe down with a damp cloth to clean.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat, which can degrade TPU over time.
  • Inspect strap slots periodically for wear or deformation under heavy load cycles.
  • Store in a dry environment when not in use to extend service life.

Lead Time: Please allow 1 week depending on volume.
